Benevolent Fund

The CUS Benevolent Fund is a new initiative by the CUS Union.

The initial idea was started by Stephen Tonge (union President 2013/15) and has now been followed through and set up by 2016/18 union President, John Cranfield as an official entity .

The Benevolent Fund was formally launched at the 2019 Annual Dinner by current Union President Peter McAuley.

Any past pupils who wishes to get in contact, may do so at any stage on the confidential email cusppu@gmail.com

Its primary purpose is to provide support and assistance to fellow CUS Past Pupils and their dependents who need help to recover from a difficult period in their lives.

Support and assistance will primarily be in the form of health, psychological and social supports amongst others. The trustees of the Benevolent fund may provide professional help, organise a support group or simply provide a new direction as appropriate. In some circumstances the Benevolent fund trustees may also grant financial assistance.

The work of the benevolent fund is totally confidential to those both providing and those receiving help and assistance.

Trustees-
